We’re Josh and Patience Williams—parents of four, lifelong athletes, and passionate mentors committed to raising strong, purpose-driven kids in today’s fast-paced, performance-focused world.
With over two decades of combined experience in youth, collegiate, and professional athletics, we’ve seen firsthand how sports can either shape or shake a child’s identity. That’s why we created Get2 Impact—a leadership and training movement designed to help kids thrive beyond the game.
Our story began on the field. Josh played college football at St. Cloud State and has spent the last 15+ years working in athletic sales and development across high school, college, and youth sports. Patience played college softball, spent 9 years in marketing, and built a successful e-commerce business while raising our four kids—including one who’s now heading off to play college baseball.
More than any resume, we’re just two parents who care deeply about the kind of people our kids are becoming.
We believe the ultimate win isn’t a scholarship or a trophy—it’s a confident, resilient, grounded leader who knows who they are and what they stand for.
That’s why Get2 Impact is about more than performance. It’s about:
Whether you’re in the stands, in the car after a tough loss, or navigating the pressures of youth sports—we’re with you. We’re building this for families like yours, because we are a family like yours.
Let’s raise the next generation of leaders—together.
In More Than a Game, former athlete, coach, mom of four, and leadership mentor Patience Williams invites parents to see the bigger picture of sports: building kids of character, confidence and purpose.
From practical tools to post-game conversations, this heartfelt guide helps parents support their children through the highs and lows of competition—while shaping leaders who win in life, not just in games.
